UPDATE! Masks Are No Longer Required on Public Transportation: Effective April 18, 2022, wearing a mask is no longer required on public transportation (including planes, buses, and trains) traveling domestically in the United States and in U.S. transportation hubs such as airports and stations. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) continues to recommend that people wear a well-fitting mask in indoor public transportation settings, especially if they are at increased risk for severe disease. DHS and the CDC recommend knowing the COVID-19 Community Level of your travel destination to determine necessary COVID-19 prevention measures in counties across the United States.

COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic - Oshkosh North High School: Monday, April 25th, Oshkosh North High School will be hosting a free COVID-19 vaccine clinic from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m. No appointment, ID, or insurance is required. The clinic is open to the community and will offer the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine and booster doses for individuals that are eligible. The Pfizer vaccine is available for ages 5 and up. Children under the age of 18 must have a signed consent form and a parent/guardian present. Pfizer booster doses are available to those who qualify. If you have one, please bring your COVID-19 vaccine card with you. Please park in the student parking lot (near tennis courts) and enter through door #1. Please see the flyer for additional details. DHS Announces Updates to COVID-19 Data Webpages: The Wisconsin Department of Health Services has announced updates to the COVID-19 metrics and data shared on the department’s website. The changes continue DHS’ commitment to providing timely and relevant data and align the metrics DHS is tracking and sharing to the latest scientific recommendations from the CDC while providing a more streamlined data experience for visitors to the DHS website. The changes include updates to the COVID-19 Summary dashboard, including adding the CDC Community Levels and removing the Disease Activity dashboard. In addition, the COVID-19 Illness After Vaccination data pages were updated and several data visualizations were removed, including maps of COVID-19 cases, deaths, and vaccinations by county, census tract, municipality, school district, and ZIP code.
