Medium Community Level - What does it mean? How does it affect me? On Thursday, May 5, 2022, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updated its COVID-19 Community Levels with new local data that puts Winnebago County in the Medium category. The Community Levels are a tool for monitoring COVID-19 and its impact on communities, and the recent uptick in cases in Winnebago County have resulted in an increase in the county's level from low to medium. Recommendations for Medium Community Level are as follows:
- If you are immunocompromised or at high risk for severe disease, talk to your health care provider about whether you should wear a mask in public.
- If you live with someone at high risk, or come in contact with people who are high risk, consider wearing a mask while indoors with them or using a home test before coming in contact with them.

REMINDER! COVID-19 Booster Dose Eligibility: Everyone 12 years and older is recommended to get a booster dose for the best protection against COVID-19 and circulating variants. Some individuals have the option to receive a second booster dose of Pfizer or Moderna four months after their first booster dose. This includes people who are:
- 50 years or older
- 18 years or older and received both a first dose and booster dose of Johnson & Johnson
- 12 years or older and are immunocompromised

- Q: I Was Exposed To COVID-19, Do I Need To Quarantine?

A: It is recommended that you quarantine if you are not up to date on your COVID-19 vaccines. If you are not vaccinated or are eligible for your booster dose and have not received it, it's recommended that you quarantine. Stay home for 5 days and wear a mask around others for a full 10 days after the last day of exposure to COVID-19. Additionally, it is recommended that you get tested for COVID-19 five days after exposure. If you are experiencing symptoms get tested immediately and follow isolation guidance.

Baby Formula Available at the Oshkosh Area Community Food Pantry: Many infants and families have been impacted by limited access to baby formula as a result of the recent formula recalls. Nestle Nan Pro 1 (dairy-based) baby formula is free and available at the Oshkosh Area Community Pantry (2251 Jackson St, Oshkosh). The free formula is available to the entire community, you do not need to be a member of the Pantry to benefit. You can stop by and pick up formula any time during their regular hours:
- Monday from 2:00-6:00pm
- Tuesday - Thursday from 10:00am-2:45pm

- Get tested if you have symptoms or have been exposed to COVID-19.
- Wear a mask around others if you have been exposed to COVID-19, have symptoms, or tested positive for COVID-19.
